Bowling For JingJing Tournament
Woooot what a blast again was the Bowling For JingJing Tournament last Friday ....
We started at 12PM with a Q&A Session with Twstd - unfortunately Abu could not be there. This session was again a great one .... though we were informed that we have to wait a bit longer for our Joy Luck Jings because of the problems SL is causing at the moment (thank god that seems to get a bit better now). And the biggest issue was the fact that BPM (where the mainstore is located too) was messed up BADLY after a rolling restart, that much that I had to request a rollback. Good thing about it was - LL was REALLY fast and did the rollback within 20 mins even (Yes - that IS a WOW) ... the bad thing was that a lot of work Twstd had done on the Joy Luck Jings inworld was lost of course.
So because of all these problems and issues the release of the Joy Luck Jings will just take a bit longer than planed .... but well .... that is just SL we all know things like that quite TOO well, right? ;=)
At 1PM we then started with the Bowling For JingJings Tournament. And as all JingJing events that was just a BLAST. Of course the bowling was really funny enough already but if you know the jingers then you know our habit to turn everything into something that ends up in a weasel way ..... that is why we found out that one person (I will not name his name here to protect the poor guy) loves a straight standing pin .... and so on and so on .... *giggles

For sure we soon will do that again .... it was just too much fun and also some ppl could not be there so here is the promise for all who did miss it - you will get another chance ;=))

EVO Fairies - or the best way to screw a product up
Everybody likes Fairies .... so I was happy to hear that the WW Fairies had a new release again and were now EVO Fairies .... A friend told me about them and it really did sound interesting:
They did implement a fishing system where you can get stuff for the fairies you need. Still not a breedable you could now do much more with them like there would be new fairies you can get from "Lockboxes" that do drop at special places and so on.
BPM always likes to promote new breedables and even though these fairies are still not a breedable but just drop a random egg every 4 days I thought - mh still interesting, give them a chance.
So I applied for a HUB store and got it .... but that was the beginning of a real chaotic and stupid story.
First of all the "creators" of these fairies did never manage to set the complete HUB store up at BPM - parts were missing and when I did ask for them one person told me - well the other ones do have it - asking them I was told - no that person does have it .... not the best start but still I was like - okay, can happen, maybe they are just busy.
For a while all was fine. Then the "creators" started to change stuff. And that in no good way. Stuff that was for free before all on the sudden was gone from the HUB stores. Without telling anybody anything. Asking them I got the answer - well we can not trust HUB store owners, ppl did screw things up ....
OKAY? You tell your partners, the ones that promote your deco product, that you can not trust them? You tell that me, a person, who always is honest and never did anything wrong???
Still - okay maybe others did not act correctly or whatever. Again - give it more try.
But that went on. Stuff was changed and the "creators" never told anybody anything, not even the HUB store owners. Some of us already did tell them - listen, if you want us to promote your product, you should tell us what is going on so we can tell our customers too. The answer we got then was - what do you think, do you think you own the fairies? .... EHMMMM - PARDON????
No matter if the fairies themselves, the fishing system or the "mini games" they started - everything was full of bugs. Almost every day there was something not working and specially when they came out with new stuff you could be sure it first did not work.
Asking about that the HUB store owners got the answer that the team is so busy and does not have that much time .... mh, well, why doing a thing like that then when you do not have the time for it? Again HUB store owners offered help to them - told them, let us test the stuff, so we can find the bugs before you release it ... and again the answer was - no, many HUB store owner do "not behave right" so we can not trust you.
That was the point when I already really got pissed about it all. The chaos even did grow more and more .... in the group they sent out notices like about weekly sim restarts (what everybody knows very well by themselves) or that this and that is not working but can not be fixed right now cause the team are all in bed atm .... okay, but no notice about an "all clear" was sent out when it was fixed, they only told in group - yes should work now. Ppl who can not follow the group all the time were screwed that way. And .... SHOULD was the right word - in a lot of cases it still did not work.
That way a lot customers did loose stuff, like from the fishing or eggs the fairies laid. Asking about that in the group they got the answer - well, file a ticket to LL, we are not responsible for their mistakes ....
Then they created a new website - and all on the sudden ppl could buy stuff there too, just for higher prices, cause they did ask "taxes" now for it too. Also stuff that you could get for free before you now did have to pay.
And so on and so on......
Then they had problems again with a new fairy and needed to change the lockbox droppers. The next day I came to the fairy place at BPM I found the lockboxes gone. Mh okay, they need to change them .... then I saw them dropping at another place - at an really stupid place even.
So what happened was they did replace it and moved it too. Not THAT biggie ... but well, I want to know if ppl move stuff around at my sim. I checked my emails for missed IMs but - nothing. They did not say a single word.
That was the moment I was at the end of my rope. Too much problems, too much mistreating from that "team", too crappy product, no breedable at all and most of all - too much money grabbing from the creators.
And last but not least I, a person who gives them promotion for free, was told more than one time that we all do "not behave" and that we all are no persons they can trust .... but then doing stuff on somebody else sim without telling the owner anything? Come on - how stupid is that ....
That was why I quit the HUB store. I deleted everything and sent the stuff that did not belong to me back. In the group for the HUB stores I sent a notice out explaining that BPM will not longer support the fairies, specially not because of all that arrogant treatment from the "creators" and the really bad manners they show the whole time.
For me - that was it. I did say what I had to say - not causing drama, I said it at the place it did belong to.
KhrysT Neox, "the creator" himself, did take it to public. Hours after I quit the HUB and left the groups friends showed me that he bitched about me in the main group saying "Cordelia seems to be in drama queen mode" ... mh well I was in no mode at all .... and I did not respond to them in any way too. Already at this point some of my friends, my tenants and my CSRs told me - do something against it, that is not fair what they do.
Still I did not want to react in any way - for me it was all done and -to be honest- I learned trying to talk to them makes no sense cause they never did listen in the past - so why should they now?
Again - all good, have fun with your fairies. What I left at BPM was the fishing system and the vendor for the "EVO Fishing System" so the customers of BPM who still are in the fairies can at least still fish here.
Now again a few days later one of my customers who was fishing here asked me "Why did you take the fishing vendor away?"
I did not take anything away so I came and had a look and indeed - it was gone. I could smell already what they did but tried it to make sure and put the vendor out again and yes indeed - that thing told me that I am banned form the fishing system (though the fishing still works .... another mistake?).
Am I angry? Or pissed? No - not at all. I am more amused. That was just another proof how stupid these ppl act and that they are so not able to run a "business" in a proper and good way. I do not know but the fact that BPM did quit the HUB store must have hurt them badly - why else would they try to "punish" me by banning me from their vendors??? *grins

Thank god we have enough good breedables on the grid and specially here at BPM ... and BPM always was a "drama free zone" and I will do what I can to keep it to that.

Surprise Birthday Party for Maros :=))
This Saturday was the RL birthday of Maros .... he is CSR at BPM and a passionate JingJing breeder, always willing to help others and always a great help for all the groups he is in.
So when we heard that it is his birthday it was totally clear - we HAVE to do something. And we found something! *grins .... So the surprise party was planned over weeks - with a lot of help of the JingJing community.
On Saturday we all were ready to start. As usual Maros came online at about 10:30AM SLT .... he checked his breedables and then came to BPM to set up for the auction ... everything was just normal, I guess he might have wondered already that not even his SL wife Kaiya said a single word about his birthday ...
Then we started the auction and were done in about 30 mins. Normally after the auction we all stand together and talk a bit still about the JingJings or whatever. But this time everybody was gone VERY fast .... all were like - okay see you next time, bye .... and did run away. Night and I even claimed that we have to speak together and were gone very fast too what we normally never do. Kaiya was pulling him from the sim with telling him to watch a movie .... so only minutes after the auction the sim was empty.
That gave me time time to decorate and set everything up. Then I tped the DJ over - she jumped in for the job in the last minute - and all the others - finally even Kaiya, who just did run away from the movie *giggles.
Poor Maros must really have thought .... what the hell is going on here .... it´s my birthday and all do run away, even my wife .... *giggles evil
Then I started to buy some JingJing food for the birthday boy as gift ... thanks to a lot of awesome and generous donations from a lot of his friends and even the JingJing creators themselves we were able to buy him 3 Jumbo Packs of food. As soon as the first one did hit him he smelled that something was going on ;=)
Kaiya did send him a TP and he landed right in the middle of us all where he was greeted with a "Happy Birthday singing" in voice .... mh not that sure if that did really sound "great" *lol
Then we did start the party .... Maros was really surprised and happy. We all had a lot of fun together as always when we do have parties and had just a great time together.

Again a BIG "thank you" to everybody who helped with planing this nice surprise for Maros, for donating to give him a nice present and a special thank to jamielaah for jumping in as DJ in the last minute .... we all enjoyed the awesome tune she brought to us. Another special thank you to Holly who found her in the last minute ;=)
That was just another nice party at BPM with the best breedable community in SL - the Jingers ;=))))
